Default Belt touches

Well I thought my Alternator went out on my Cobra, but the guy before me had underdrive pullies on it and the pullies are bigger. Well he completely bypassed the Idler pullie. Going straight From the Alternator to the PS pump. Well My belt was slipping and causing the alternator to slip worse when I had the ac on, and with 110 temps outside I need AC. So I pulled the belt under the idler pullie and its rubbing against the belt as it runs over the water pump. I will play with it more after work. Anybody run into this?

Default RE: Belt touches

get a belt that fits under the idler, so it'll keep proper tension
