RE: trick flow full upper
looks like a cheaper way to go, trick flow says its good for 350hp/370lb-ft at the crank. so that works out to be about 287hp at the wheels (18% drivetrain loss on average). they had the rest of the spec listed to so you dont need to much motor. mabey a touch more compression but thats it.
NOTE: Kits were dyno-tested on a 306 cubic inch engine with 9.5:1 compression, a 70mm throttle body, 24lb injectors, 190 lph fuel pump, mass air, and 10° base timing.
in a 3300# street mustang under ideal conditions it should be good for 13.15@ 103mph in the 1/4

thanks for the answers. from what i hear everyone is all about the trick flow or afr heads so is this the way to go?? seems like people get a bigger gain from that than 280 hp but still thats not bad. is there any componant of that kit that you would wana replace with something else?
sorry for all the ?s jsut wana know all i can before i spend 2k on ****

thats not bad at all, a 100 horse over a a stock motor (170-175 average rwhp dyno'd). you may be able to take out a 06 gt with it. put some gears in the car and you wont beleve the difference its the same car.

RE: trick flow full upper
TrickFlow and AFR are regarded as industry leaders for sure. can't go wrong.
the hp differences come from minor engine differences, like TB, timing, MAF, pullies, electric fan, compression, ect ect......
you might think of replacing the lifters at same time ( not included in kit )

RE: trick flow full upper
personally all i would change is more compression, afr 165 heads, a perfromer rpm intake, a little more aggressive cam shoudl be close to 400 at the crank. get you into the 12's on the motor and low 11's on a light hit from the bottle. cost more though.
that kits looks great for a street car, it comes with every gasket, nut and bolt you need.
