Performance Tips
Whats up? I just bought my first Mustang. I want to do what I can to start boosting my GT. Can anyone give me some pointers???

gears is the number one thing to get started with but you could also get a few others.
2 1/2' hipe with catback exhaust is a plus and wouldnt be a bad start if your bone stock plus give you that sweet 5.0 mustang sound.
check my cardomain http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2377386/ for my mods. pretty basic starter mods to get ready for heads and cam. but made a huge difference in my car and made it a ALOT faster than a stock stang.
but a free mod is removing air silencer (maybe put in a k&N cone filter)
and bump timing up to 12 or 14 degrees. makes a nice noticable feel.

you unbolt the airbox from the fender and its bolted to the fender. take it off then bolt airbox back to fender.
also if you post this in the 5.0 tech section you would get more feedback.
