i mean if you were really strapped for cash and you really couldnt afford the pistons....and considering the motor was standard bore....you could re-use the pistons...but its really not recomended.

exactly, and if you can't afford new pistons, then it won't be on N2O or a blower, so I would use hyperutenic (sp.) pistons since they are almost as strong as forged, weigh less, have tighter clearences....

yeah a old block usuallly needs boring.but somtimes ifcylinder walls r in good shape u can use over sized rings
