'94/'95 tail lights. about to paint mine???
about to spray paint my white gt's tail lenses. should i go with a flat black or glossy? also, any tips/precautions i should take since i've never done this before?

mine were originally red like my car so i painted them gloss black yo stand out. much better go with gloss no doubt. just mke sure ya sand em good so the primer and paint'll stick. i actually used plastics paint on mine which seems to have worked out good but im sure it prolly doesnt matter as long as its a good paint.

Yeah they're white right now. When u use plastic paint, do u still have to primer 1st or will it stick directly to the plastic after I sand em?

+1 for semi-gloss ... trim on cars, mirrors, grills, etc. you should use a semi-gloss trim paint. looks very oem.
i didnt use primer for mine i just painted it right on the plastic since it was plastic paint... havent had any problems so far and i did it about 6 mos ago.
