3160 lbs.
So I stopped by the rock place today and they let me weigh my car, and since I've seen questions about weights before I thought I'd post it here, just for the fun of it.
So, a stock 1988 Mustang LX 5.0 Hatchback, with almost a full tank of gas, the spare tire, and not much else, without me in it, weights 3160 pounds.
I was kinda surprised, I figured it'd be just over 3200.
Uh, that is all.

RE: 3160 lbs.
gt IS heavier
it is fact
so many other factors though
particulary the GT is more heavy not because of its body kit but also upgraded hardware. the fog light supports are notoriously heavy. also the gt came with the special option group which had all the bells and whistles (power everything, etc) AND they could only be ordered in hatch or convertable.
a convertable gt is about 3500 lbs without a driver
