351 into a 93 lx will it just drop in??
im not sure if this is the best area to post this "q" but i ll go ahead....ive seen a few foxbodies with a 351 in them. so how hard is this do the factory motor mounts work on a straight swap in?? and what choice of trannies is there and will a c4 bolt to a 351 w or c motor?

sweet, ill check it out.are there any disadvantages of doing this over a 5.0 swap in?? ive done 2 5.0 swaps so i know about that, but i dont know a damn thing about 351s, i just wanna put in sumthing big enough to take out ls1 and stuff without any mods to the motor, or not many, and i also figured a bigger platfor is a better place to start, its kinda why i knock the v6 guys, the they spend enough cash on their 6 to have gotten a sweet 5.0, it makes no sense and they still get clowned for havin a 6er!!!

lower intake, distributer, oil pan, small cowl hood and headers are whats needed to make it a fulie motor in a fox if the donor is the same transmission type.
the 351w is taller than the 302 but there basedon the same block. the mounts are the same, as well as the bellhousing mounts. the only thing i think may be different is you may need to make sure the flywheel is ballanced for the 351 (as the 302 one is a different weight i believe)

i'm pretty sure im going to do this swap as you can do it for about $1,000 or less minus the price of the car. the only thing im worried about is my car isnt the best shell to do it in, although i could just look for a newer nicer 4cyl or shell and swap my 351 set-up in it. anyone have an 86 they wanna sell cheap?

yeah i think im gonna do it too, no efi i like old skool better, no ecu=no crap!!!!! not even no damn durfart(duraspark), ill buy an old skool remand distributor andslap a coil on and a intake for a 4bbrl and go from there, its how i did my last 5.0 swap, its damn nice to tune with just a carb and distributor to tweek, less eficient but less crap to buy less parts to fail and no damn ecu!!!!
