Default Tubular K member....

Are they worth all that work? Or is it as hard as it looks? I saw one guy do this to his 98 mustang and it took him like a week to do it.

theyre easy if you know what your doing and your ride has never been wrecked up front. shouldnt take a week, but i guess it would depends on how much you work on it, and what tools youre working with.

NOT ALL ARE STRONGER!!! There are some made for drag racing, and some made for road racing, the road racing ones are stronger. If this is a street car, buy one made for road racing, like one from Maximum Motorsports or Griggs

So only three people either have or have messed with a tubular K member in the 5.0 section...wow.

Thank you for the 3 replies, it might become a second winter project for me.

most tublar k-members are not stronger and their main goal is weight reduction for dragging.

go with the MM design, not as lite, but race proven.

coil overs can wait, I would just like more room under there. There is a good possability that I'm going to have to pull the oil pan sometime in the next year, and I'd rather not have to yank the engine. I have heard it is possible to pull the pan if you have a tubular k member.
