MY SON HAS A 94 GT AND HAD VIBRATION PROBLEM, BALANCER ON ENGINE STARTED TO ROTATE DUE TO ELASTOMER IN BETWEEN 1/2 OF BALANCER BREAKING DOWN.
GET FRT OF CAR IN THE AIR AND RUN YOUR FINGER AROUND REAR FACE OF BALANCER AND SEE IF YOU CAN FEEL THE PLASTIC PROTRUDING. REPLACED BALANCER AND PROBLEM WENT AWAY. CAR HAD APPROXIMATELY 100,000 MILES ON IT WHEN PROBLEM SHOWED UP.

I have a 95 gt that had the same exact problem. A harmonic balancer(vibration damper) is about $80 at Auto Zone.

at about 80mph my car would start to vibrate. the shifter vibrated so fast that if you watched it you would start to get diizzy lol.the whole car was like a giant vibrator. i replaced the driveshaft with an aluminum one and it all went away. now at high speeds its as smooth as glass. not sure if thats your problem but it worked for me

Start eliminating some and let us know what you have left.

im gonna try to slowly get up to 100, like low rpm and see if it does it then.

edit: that would eliminate some things right?

I faced the same problem, i changed my drive shaft with a Crown Victoria drivshaft because its aluminum, fix it asap or it will ****up your tranny and rear end.

my car used to do that.. get up to around 90-100mph or so and the drivetrain would shake like it wanted to come out of the car...

replaced the ujoints and all was well

My car used to do that after my 4.10's I put in a FMS aluminum driveshaf and it cured the whole problem. The car would go in and out, 55 in and 90 it was out. A driveshaft vibration will affect your shifter, and your seat.

look at your transmission mount and engine mounts

alright, i know i need new mounts for tranny and motor, and im gonna be going to a decent size wreckin yard shortly and ill look for a crown vic with an alum. d/s. thanks for the help i really appreciate it.
