Finally Done T5 Conv
Well I finally got done the conversion and my god, I hope its worth all the time and fuking around, that is bar none the hardest job I have ever done on a vehicle. Monday I will be getting the rest of the engine thrown together and see how good it runs, I did a MAF conversion this winter and I never had the engine going sence so I will have LOADS of trouble shooting if the thing isnt going want to run for me. My advice to Newbs is DO NOT try this if you are not mechanically inclined its a real hum dinger.

Well the trouble part was the wiring more than anything, as well as getting the pedal in and out. I am still unsure of the wiring that I did, I am sure everything is fine with the pedals but not 100% sure about the tranny. I took the whole harness from my doner 5 speed car that goes under the carpet by the fuel relay and connects by the drivers side kick panel. Does anyone know if this is the proper way or is splicing into the AOD harness better? I basically took the entire 5 speed system from the doner other than the computer/.

I would just bypass my heater core if it ever went, I never drive it when its that cold out anyways. I only get about 7 months a year of Mustang weather. I will tell you in a few weeks about the difference I am painting it this week so all the body is in a million pieces right now. 2 weeks its going to be fresh engine, and paint, with Cobra R's and a 2 inch cowl.......Yeah baby!
