You really think that I'd run quicker with less timing even though it isn't pinging, well I'll try and back it down anyways? I was trying to get it at a 1/4 tank, I just wasn't sure how much gas I'd use on the way up there so it didn't work out too good. So tomorrow, I'll back off my timing a little bit and see how she runs. I didn't really go to sleep, it's my first time bracket racing and I'm trying to grasp the concept of leaving on the last amber.

I just converted my times and it's looking like I'd run a 14.4 at 97 mph. Sounds about right, If I could just get my 60' times down a couple of tenths I'm sure that I'd be at 14.2ish (at sea level).

There's a 50/50 chance that I might be running at a different track this friday or next friday, if I go down to the other track I'm sure that I can get in 15-20 runs.

that about right for your mods..i ran 14.2 at sea level with 4.10s on the other stang and the stang in my sig with same mods except 3.55's runs mid 14's depending on weather track condtions...your mph isnt high enough for a 13's pass. if you traped around 99-100 it would be 13's for sure.

next time u go man go all out

take out the passenger headlight, the backseats should clip right out, definitely no passengers lol, and bring some ice to cool the intake.

get ur '60 times down and u should see some good improvements

i cant wait to go to NED (new england dragway)

i guess the elevation is only 90' so i should see some pretty accurate times (if my driver mod prevails hehe)

I think Bandimere is at about 6000' above but it's in an arid area so you could have had 10,000 air density real easy.
Next time out there, go around where the PRO and SUPER PRO racers are parked and ask about air density.

I think that you may have been able to altitude correct down to about 14.2- 14.5 at real sea level.
Each 1000' is worth about .10..
At that altitude, IME you need MORE gear and converter than what you may think you need to it done.........

find some 165R front tires and then go to 'pick-a-part and find 2 wheels that where used for spare tires on '80's T-Birds. Mount the tires.
Wheels are something like 15X4......
Then air up front tires to about 45 psi. That is for RACING only..
Get some wieght of the the car, each 100# will get you a tenth quicker..

I think that my 3.90s are doing good, I was crossing the finish line at like 4900 rpms in 3rd gear. I might just pick up a set of used 16" ponies to mount my DR's on. I know that I definentally need to do some weight reduction, I was kind of surprised that my car weighed in at 3450 lbs with me in it, I was expecting like 3300 or 3200.

Yeah I could, but I just need work on leaving at the last amber, my r/t's were consistantly getting better as the night went on. But either way I'm just worried about getting my 1/4 mile times lower and you guys are really helping me out.
