i run a breather on each valve cover, pcv system and its plenty of crank case ventalation for a sc motor

I dont think the Track Heat intake is equipped for EGR.
He probably had to block off some of the EGR stuff.

the pcv is brand new. but i called the engine builder a little bit ago and he said he had to block off something when he put my trickflow track heat intake on and thats what he said i needed to buy one of those k&n breathers for the valve cover. do u know what he might have blocked off?

my car is mostly stock and i run a k&n breather. could be why my car never gets over 175* with a 180* thermastat that and the active hood scoop

I must be way off but i thought that Blowby was a sign of bad rings causing combustion pressure down in the crank case which caused the oil to shoot out like you are saying? am i wrong in thinking this?

blow by is too much pressure in the crankcase

pcv is clogged

pressure cant go out

it will find a way (ie. the dipstick)

There is a screen between the pcv and and the baffle at the bottom of the lower intake plenum.I cleaned mine out when installing my trickflow .What I assume he blocked off was the galley plug at the rear of upper rail of the block .Trcik flow recommended it because they stated that you might suck oil thru the intake .Blow by is caused by one of two things a bad pcv system or bad ring sealing.Being a 347 stroker some of the kits run the oil ring thru the pin area hence causing a possible bad seal .Tkae back to the engine builder he is ultimatley responsible for this isssue. hope that helps[&:]
