I did it mostly for a nicer appearing intake and the cool sound. Gave some small gains along with the TF intake.

2 save money u culd take ur air silencer off and put a ne K&N airfilter in there which is about the same thing

Or??? if you are putting future mods spend 100 more bucks..........just go and change out the MAF and be done with it! C&L makes a nice one with the tubes up to the TB with the filter and all..............

Its no cold air though...........filter is still in the motor are but has a shroud..

Yes you can install it by yourself, its not a huge boost in perfomance maybe 5hp.

Theres a group buy on Cold Air Intake Kits from one of the sponsors (West Imports), check out summit or bbk, they have nice CAI kits too.

are the ones on ebay good? like the $40 ones. could i just get that and change the filter? or is it just better going w/ like a BBK cai?
