Default Car wont start

Hello, im new to this forum and Mustangs. Well this is the second time this has happened but when I go to start the car it does a slow drain on the bat. it goes from 13 to 4/5 on the meter. THe first time this happened I replaced the starter, solenoid, voltage reg., alternator, battery. And now it doing it again. Its been about a 2 weeks since this happened last. I jumped the car and it stays running and the alternator puts out 13 14 on the meter, but when I go to start it, it does a slow start then youll hear the solenoid click. The guy before me put in a MSD 6AL. If anyone cant point me in a direction it would be very appreciated. Thanks

maybe a shot ground wire? I had the problem and it turned out to be a ground wire that had broken loose from the screw.

yep sounds like a faulty terminal somewhere

check the connections on the battery and follow the ground wire (should bolt to the fender somewhere)

Ok...I replaced the voltage regulator again, and put new terminals on the ground. Jumped the car and it runs real good. I let it run for a while and now it starts up fine. Now Im wondering if it was the ground wire or the regulator. What would cause the reg. to go out like that? Or could it be just that the ground needed cleaning
