I thought the same thing about them being hard to find, Try collectorcartraderonline.com it is an off shoot of auto trader but for some reason has more cars 
also don't be scared to buy a car out of state (be sure to go look at it first) most of my cars (minus the camaro and mustang) came out of state. hopefully you can find what you want I know there were some on there from kentucky that had some good prices.

im building my 331 for just over 5, so i think you can get somethinggood with that. and im not usuing any of the gt-40 crap either.
