nvm.... i used a jack with a a socket sat upright in the middle of the piston to get it up in there.... then i had both free hands to get the clip in.....so im finished now and holy sh*t what a difference!!!!! in the instructions it says to accelerate easy and the shifts were real firm but not crazy .... but when it was above 3/4 throttle it will EASILY chirp the tires goin into second.... downshifts are alot smoother and there is no more clunk into od when u have ur foot off the gas..... the only scary thing is that it revs alot higher now when it shifts.... instead of shifting at 5000 at wot..... it shifts at about 5600-5800 rpm....... the aod doesnt seem like a crappy tranny any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well so far so good ive been drivin my car all day and its fine so i guess i id everything right!!!! IMO if u have an aod buy tis kit and it will be amazing how much of a difference it makes........ the car slams u in ur seat every shift and doesnt have any more sluggish or clunky shifts....... u cant really mess up with the install if u watch the vid it just takes sum muscle pushing that piston in if u dont have a jack.... i could get the piston in by pushing it up with my hands but i couldnt put the c clip in.... def buy transgo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everyone has their opinion but personaly i'd take an AOD with a shift kit over a 5 speed anyday

throw in some gears and you have a whole new animal that can't be tamed [8D]

i assume u got the trans go high hp shift kit? probably one of the best-buck performance parts out there for the AOD

just be careful when reving high man

im sure u could rev all the way to the fuel cut off if u wanted to but IMO i would keep it under 5000 if ur stock
