cam is a .555, .565 lift, Heads are made by proComp (replica's of vic jr's) they started out at 200cc intake runner, 65cc exhaust runner, and 64cc compustion chamber. I even had the Victor jr. intake extrude honed to smooth all the intake walls out. AFR's aint shiat had 2 sets and I could never get out of them what I got out of these ProComps.

thats basically another variation on the Boss 302....that much head flow with a high revving 302 bottom end. Always works wonders.

The guy that builds my engines works for a nextel cup team. cant say wich one but you should have seen the numbers with a nascar carb. on it... I closed my eyes when it went over 600hp., wish I had the 42,000 dollars to buy that carb. they turned the engine 8500 rpm (they call it the break-in pull) I walked out when I saw 7000RPM

My neighbor chuck builds engines...he built a 306 for his old 32 Ford and he built it with similar specs to your engine he really worked some trick flow street heats over, he never flowed them but i know he did exstensive work on them, and it put out 368hp on the dyno @ 6000. This man missed his calling, he knows EVERYTHING!!! Everyone tells him he should have went into building engines or Nascar or something...he's from upstate NY. Very wise man...i basically live in his garage.

converted mine to carb on a 85...... got rid of acrap load of wires....lokar has the kick down and i had to everse my kick down linkage on side of tranny... edelbrock dont have a kick down4 ford..holley does...make sure your kick down for tranny moves insync with ya carb linkage 1 for 1 or ya will burn the pump on a aod ///fast////better to have it push kick down all the way and work from there then to have it not open at all atfirst///
