Electrical help needed ASAP

RE: Electrical help needed ASAP
I just went through the same issue with my 91. I converted the stock alt to a 130 amp and replaced the solenoid with a new one from AZ also. after about a week the solenoid fried and got stuck in the on position, which of course kept my starter spinning. To make a long story short I replaced the solenoid with a better one from a different and havent had a problem since.
does the solenoids your using have 3 or 4 posts?

Well it really isn't a splice it is more like they added a section of wire to it and the section they added is a larger gauge.

follow that wire! It should go directly to the starter switch. make sure. it should be a red and light blue wire.
make sure that larger spliced wire isnt connecting to any other device.
