Looking at the Performance Automatic Super Streeter AOD (PA53101). $1200 from summit, Mild Street Edge Converter (2500 stall). I was wondering if anybody had this transmission, and yes, i know Lentech makes good transmissions, but im inquiring about this one :-)

id go with atleast a 2800 stall, 3000 is prefered.

how much hp u putting down?

u could just beef up your current AOD with a shift and rebuild kit for ALOT cheaper

rebuilt aod wont handle 750 hp like that tranny though. not without some serious parts in it.

true but chances are if he has 750hp.. he dosnt need a 4th gear haha

most ppl with "built" aod's make about 300hp and want the 4th gear for DD

well to be honest, ur not like most people haha

i dont know anyone else making those kind of numbers out of a 5.0 without some serious power adders

I havent sprayed it yet. those numbers are straight off of the engine dyno at 5700RPM

All these replies and not a single answer :-P

And yes, when im done Im looking and putting down 300-350hp... any more than that and i'd look into a C4. I want 4th gear for daily duties. Even the guy at EDGE recommended the Mild Street Edge.

And the whole reason i need a new tranny is cause mine's toasted with bad hard parts, if not, i'd just have it built
