Granatelli MAF
You guys probably know of my intake problems I've been having. Well my MAF sensor is no good, because i have no throttle response when its plugged in, but my throttle response is normal when its unplugged. However, it bucks around like CRAZY when I drive unplugged, obviously because of the wierd signals the computer must be getting. So I need a new MAF. I called Granatelli Motorsports and asked them to send me a new one. After giving the the serial #, model #, and calibration #, they told me that it was made to fit my car exactly. They need to know the size of my injectors before they can send me one that fits. Judging by the things the previous owner of the car did to it, I am not sure of my injector size. Could I just order a MAF off of some other site, and bolt it right on? Is this specialty MAF needed to for my car to run smoothly? HAs anyone ever had experience with this company, Granatelli Motorsports, or own a MAF from them? Any feedback is apprecaited.

RE: Granatelli MAF
I had problems with granatelly, the wiring did not match the color coded wires with the original MAF, had to research and find the proper way to connect it. Good luck, I have a granatelly maf but not too happy with it.

RE: Granatelli MAF
Yea I just realized how friggen much they were. Upwards of $350!! Thats not something I want to order only to find out that I ordered it for the wrong injector size. I got my car off of a guy who bought it at auction, so I can't just make a phonecall and ask him what size they are because it wasnt his car. I am not even 100% positive that the MAF is the whole problem. That would be horrible if I ordered a new one and that wasnt the problem. Wow this is aggravating!![:@]
