i am trying to get the bracket for the power steering punp and the a/c. But i cant seem to get the 3rd bolt it is right behind the power steering pully. I tried to take off the pully but i gave it all i got and it wont budge. any suggestions on how to get this bracket off or the pully?

did you try a universal joint socket with a huge extension? It should work with that and if not try a box wrench with an angle in it like they sell at sears that give you more torque.

is the pump spinning when you try to take it off? if so you need to block it so that it can't spin that way you can get more torque. i would say try a impact wrench like you have to do ta get the bolt off a harmonic balancer but i don't think that would work in this case. I would say Spray some wd 40 or something that will loosen it up (i forget what it is called) block it so the pump don't spin and give it h#ll

lol ya i blocked it and used an allen wrench with a pipe bar exteded on it and she still wouldent turn i guess will have to try the spray, i mean i know its 12 years old but wow!!

For removing the bolt in the 2nd picture, it looks like a box wrench from beneath the car should get it. I think that's how we got mine the first time...

i tried the box end turned as hard as i could and nothing so i used a bigger box end and (circle side) kinda as a prying bar ( slide the little wrench in and pushed down) to get more torque and that still wasent enouph torqu to get it off. so i was thinking of impact wrench or somthign for that bolt, but now i cant get the pully off. so now i dont know what the hell to do lol

I hace a 3" piece of pipe I use for stubborn bolts like these. slip it over a wrench and presto!

if you dont need the car as a DD spray it with pbblaster/ wd40 a couple times a day for two or three days then try to break it free, or get a hold of an impact wrench, i'm not sure if you can use an acetylene torch to heat those up? anyone have comments on that?
