Default platinum vs regular plugs

So the Platinums last longer, and are supposed to be better, are they all that? Are NGK plugs decent?

IMHO.....for the TFI or TFI/aftermarket box....nope....not worth the cash or improvement (if any).

i've read and heard to stay away from platinum plugs cause they are for newer vehicles, also they are very expensive, i use motorcraft OEM plugs, they work great, just verify the gapping prior to install. I've also heard good things about NGK but never had them in an auto, i run them in all my 2 strokes though.
