Need ideas and suggestions
Alright guys, Well I have to do a few things to my car. Last night coming out of work my oil light check was on, so I checked my oil and it was at the ADD level. So I put two quarts in there an hour ago...
My valve cover gaskets have been bad since January but not leaking that bad... But now I guess they are... Anyways Im going to monitor my oil level everyday when I drive. So I need a good suggestion on the best but not that expensive gasket. I DONT want the cork.
The good news is, I was putting oil in my engine and I look in there and it says crane so heyy I have something in my valve train thats upgraded.
Anyways, another thing. When Im driving, sometimes my car squeals bad. It just makes my car sound like a piece of crap... It happens only when Accelerating. When a high speed above eh, lets say 35 reaches, it stops.... At first I thought it was my wheel bearings, but they are fine after pulling the tires off and wiggling, etc. So My drive shaft is messed up... I believe the u joints are shot, My car clunks at low rpms and when shifting into 5th. Whats a good brand and part for this?? I dont want to buy the cheap autozone stuff....
Last but not least, What should I torque my upper intake manifold and valve cover gaskets to? I looked and basically all I can see that needs to be taken off is the upper manifold, so I can get to my valve covers. Thanks
