Default a/c and smop pump eliminator

im lookin to eliminate the a/c and smog pump on a 91 HO, is it just as simple as unbolting them and bolting the new brackets or is there anything else i need to worry about? i was thinking about goin with FRPP. Is there any other kits that are better? And if i want to eliminate a/c, smog pump and power steering, whats the best way to go about it? Anything you guys can come up with would be cool.

If you're going to eliminate power steering, you're going to need to go with a manual rack and pinion. If you don't you'll ruin yours. Also, you can just unplug and remove them and replace them with the brackets. Some people just remove them and put a smaller belt on. My experience has shown that the removal kits are worth the money...

I just removed my smog pump completely, used an ac delete kit(ford racing kit M8511A50),put on Mac underdrive pulleys and used a short belt from summit(part # GTR-4060735).It seems to have given me a little more horses. The only prob so far is my amps are down some at idle, but not to bad.

My coupe had the smog and AC deleted when I bought it, I'd be willing to trade brackets for your old gear. I'm pretty sure it was the Ford kit used for the AC, but I'd have to check. Let me know what you think.

i was thinking about the same thing but im going to leave the power steering and buy the kit that moves the power steering were the a/c compessor was, adding under drive pulleys , and replace the flex fan with a electric fan, you dont need a smog pump elemanotor bracket , just get a smaller belt , but you must move the power steering or buy the elemanotor bracket/idealer pulley cuz the belt will just rub the water pump.
