Default What's the right master cylinder ?

I have a turbo coupe rear end in my 85 gt. All the calipers are new front and back, as well as rotors. It has an adjustable proportioning valve for the rear, and the stock proportioning valve has not been gutted like most sites say to do. The car stops OK, but pedal pressure sucks. I have heard that there are 2 different m/c's that are commonly used for this swap. First is the SVO one, but it seems people say to use this with the 87 and later fronts, which i'm not interested in doing right now. I also have recently heard about using a mid 80's lincoln town car master, but they had rear drums? But it is a 1 inch bore master. Anyone have any experience with turbo coupe rears and the smaller front calipers? Every time I drive my car the first stop with the soft pedal freaks me out. Then I drive one of my trucks and nearly put myself into the windshield on the first stop.
