My buddy has a 1500 dodge and is tired of getting beat by srt-4's, so his question was if he bought this 93 gt bone stock and put a vortech at 6psi on it would he be able to beat them? I said I am thinking yes but wasnt sure what do you guys think?

i would also say yes. a stock 5.o is puttin about 205 at the rear in hp and with 6psi you would prob gain at least 50 to the rear and very easily beat them, ive kept with them and beat one or two when my stang was stock!

thats hard to say, it depends how much boost the srt 4 is running

ur correct mark if it is built up and has alotta psi runnin thru it then you gotta do some modin to your stang to beat it, but if it is stock then u should hav no prob other than traction bein an issue

you also gotta remember that car has 20 -25 years of technology on your stang as well. and comin from the factory with a turbo.

also it was way overpriced therefor they brought in the even gayer dodge caliber

dodge neon srt-4 1/4 mile 14.2 sec off the floor.

mustang gt with 6psi (aprox 240 hp) with slicks could run 14.09 based on the full weight off the car and horsepower.

in my openion the neon would be faster.
