OK, my next mod will be an upper/lower/tb swap, I was wondering what's the best intake to go with for a 95 GT. I've seen some dynos comparing the trickflow and the elderbrach intakes, and the trickflow is better at producing hp, my question is, for an N/A engine, what else may be better, and how good is a Cobra intake, like would it produce the same hp, or less? Thanks for any advice given. Damn 4000+ post, and 3800 of them were on sixers.

The Cobra now sucks since they are made in China. I would look at the trick flow family, good performance for a good price

keep the stock intake and spend that $550-$650 on a set of heads (like gt40's) sure they dont make 100 hp like good afr's but its 40hp on a stock engine, thats 35 more than an intake swap will get you for the same money.

im also an edelbrock man.

I'm a fan of the trickflow stuff. I would first recommend that you get a larger MAF (not listed in your sig). Getting a larger TB won't help much if you're still sucking air thru the stock 55mm MAF.

For your setup, you'll want to look at intakes that work in the idle-5500rpm range. YOu won't have power above that, so the higher rpm intakes aren't needed. Look on ebay for good deals on used intakes or check the classifieds here.

Look into these:
GT40
TFS Street Heat
Eddy RPM (not rpmII)
Systemax II

What casting identifications separate a used original Cobra intake and the newer chinese versions?
