go tthe crap scared out of me today!!!!!!!
ok, i got a new bbk 70 mm tb, so later that night i went over to put it in. i got it in and everything was fine. then i disconnected the sensor they said to disconnect and turned the idle screw 5 turns in. i reset the computer and started it up. it idled really high like at 2500. then about 5 min it started smokin alittle, and the i went to the side of the car and there was a ton of smoke. i immediatly shut the car off then puff i looked underneath and the car was on fire. luckily it went out. i found that one of the cats were plugged and created so much backpressure that it caught on fire. i want to know if any of u have had this problem. my aunt said she had this same problem several years ago. but anyway, there is some majorly good news to this!!!!! i am now getting a catles h pipe and flowmaster 2 chmbr cat back system!!!!! and im only 15 and cant drive yet, lol. and also if anyone put in a new bbk tb, and im sure some of u have, what did it idle at when u turn the idle screw in 5 turns mine idled at 2500 is that normal??? obviously i know that u turn it down to normall once u let it warm up and recconect that sensor. but i was just wondering if it was suppose to idle this high when u do this, thanks a lot guys, WOW, what and exciting day!!!
