what about the detroit tru trak do you like? why do you like it more than say an Auburn or Eaton?
I dont have experience with Auburn or Eaton... I just know it performs better that whatever i had previously.... I told mosser what i had, engine wise, an they hooked me up with the tru trak... i did mention Auburn an they steered me away saying the tru trak was better for me an my car...

9" is stronger then the 8.8 but you lose a lot of power to the wheels with a 9"

Thanks for the input guys. I figured that it would cost a couple of grand; but if you are going to do it, you might as well do it right the first time. I thought about trying to build the stock 8.8 but would love to just replace the whole kit'n'kibudle; as it seems like a project of that magnitude would be beyond my limited capabilities. Furthermore, the parts to do a complete rebuild axles, lockers, gears, ect. would be rather costly anyway.

IF you can afford it, mosser will set you up... they're not cheap, but they're good...
