Default fuses

hey guys im new to this site and im 16 and own a 1994 gt vert and would like to know where i can find out what size fuses are used in the fuse box in the engine and under dash because my taillights are not working[:@]
and pics of my car will be up in a week

The owners manual... and by taillights do you mean ALL the lamps in the back (directionals, break, tail, reverse) or just the actual "tail lights". Either way the Fuses for the exterior lamps, directionals and break lights are slots 1, 5, 9 which are clustered around the lower right hand corner of the interior fuse panel...

LCBlack is correct on fuse numbers. The amperage is as follows
#1-15amp
#5-15amp
#9-15amp

if its just your brake lights, check the bulbs first... but u can easily check the fuses in the fuse box by just taking them out and seeing if the wire is broke or not. i still have a fuse problem that no one can answer... i have to wiggle my headlight switch to get the dash lights on and if they dont come on then the back lights wont come on which i dont want to drive at night like that. and the fuse that controls the dash lights and i guess the tail lights keeps blowing out and im not sure whats causing all of this to happen. i tried replacing the headlight switch but that didnt work. im lost

thanks guys i checked the fuses and they are fine so i guess i will just check the bulbs hopefully that works[>:]
