Hey all, I've been hearing things that there is a fake Cobra Intake Manifold...if that is the case, then can someone please tell me...a)what is fake about, b) Does it have any performance difference compared to the "real" one, c) How can you tell its fake?

It is not that they are fake, they are still sold by Ford Racing, but they are now made in China and the quality suffered along with the performance.
Unfortunately the one you show looks like one of the Chinese ones, it has the Ford Racing logo by the throttle body.

the chinese ones aren't that bad.

take the manifold to head gaskets and see how well they match the ports
also look at the runners see if they are really rough or dont match right.

you can always port them a little to improve

any chrome cobra monifold is aftermarket... the OEM ones were satin finish... and MOST that you find now are made my Professional Products

Twister told me that the OEM 93 cobra manifold is rated up to 400hp

the Aftermarket FRPP manifold is rated up to 350hp,
I double checked it, so that is the major differance

(i personally would recommend to get a Trickflow)

As pointed out already, the ford racing logo on the throttle body and a Made in China stamp in the cast tells you if its an original.

I'd imagine if you're going to have it ported/polished, it won't make any difference...someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you didn't plan on a port and polish let me know. I have an original set in great condition that I'm about to send out to get ported/polished. Maybe we can work something out with a trade.

u dont like rice like the rest of us.... don't sweat it ... get it ported and polished, u'll be all set.

that thing looks 100x better than my stock one. Where does it say made in china?

It's stamped into the forging on the bottom of the lower intake manifold.
