The reason I said that about the belt is It looks like is almost touching or is touching at the tensioner and w/p.

Oh. I thought you were talking about that sharp angle (200* almost) that the belts takes around the alt pulley. It just seems like that would suck up a lot of power. And yes, I am smoking, Steven.

That would reverse the rotation of his water pump from how it runs now. His is an older carbed motor, not an injected one.
