Im getting ready to start putting a car back together. Ive got a 347 with 10.5 :1 cr, will be running afr 185s, edelbrock victor intakes. I will be spraying the eventually, so im looking for a cam that will work well with this thing. im worried about using the victor intake because it maily runs hard in higher rpms. I dont want to have to rev the **** out of the thing to get the power. So what kinds of specs do you knowlegable guys think i should be looking for in a cam.
Oh and i will be running a built AOD, havent gotten a converter yet for it, but im guessing i should be looking for something with a high stall speed if im running a lopy cam, right?
