need your guys help
ok here i go about 5 weeks ago my pump sounds louder than my flowmasters"kinda" my friends said i could have a after market one in there and they are loud. ok so i let it slide and a week later my fuel psi is low per my psi gauge 20 psi vac line on. readjusted it to 40 vac. off 0ff good to go for uhh about a day now at 60 psi vac. on wow!!!! readjust back to 40 vac. line off. next day down at 22 psi vac on.????? [sm=WTFsgign.gif]
allright so today i get off work fire it up pop the hood to cheack psi huh perfect 32 psi vac. line on at idle. about a block down the street car dies well instead of recranking it because i figure its the pump i just turn the key on no more loud pump its gone= no fuel.guess it was not a aftermarket one.[sm=headbang.gif]im sure its the pump but i have no idea what wires to jump or ground or what to test the pump.i think the big round connector is the pump power and other smaller one is fuel level sending .is this right? i dont want to pull the tank to find out the pump was ok BUT IM SURE ITS TOAST. can you guys tell me how to test the pump?

May just be the pump having its last days...or you can check ur fuel filter
Oh and your FP gauge or the regulator could be broken or unaccurate.
The filter is cheap and prob needs changing anyhow. They get clogged and cause all kinds of crazy stuff to happen.
