clutch cable feels like its binding
i have a steeda clutch cable with the firewall adjuster and steeda quadrant. my problem, the clutch is so stiff i can barely push it in, after driving for a few minutes warms up it is smooth and good. wtf? should i pull it out and lube it?

yea that works. but mine was the same and it was kinda squicking a little and it ended up fraying right above the clutch pedal. so check that out first so u dont end up getting stuck somewhere.

I had the same exact problem...Clutch cable went out on me for the 2nd time. Its my old style mac long tubes brush right near it.. I need new headers to stop the problem.

RE: clutch cable feels like its binding
i figured the problem, like a dumbass, i let the cable rest on the header tube (mac chrome equal lengths) so the header melted the rubber/plastic tube the cable runs through. that made sense of why it freed up when the car warmed up!
