I found some guy selling a set of Gt40 heads, off of a 93 cobra. The heads are rebuilt, Ported and Polished and he want's $350. what do you guys think? Should i get them?

Hell yea man. At my uncles machine shop. I used to port heads there....man he charged like $150 just to gasket match, another $150 to gasket match exhaust, it was $250 to do a bowl job, and $650 got you totally ported and seats cut for larger valves. And if you wanted a full out competition job it was $1,100.

So i would take those S.O.B's and run.

BUY THEM they are $610 on summit, good deal and there ported and polished.

if they are ported and polished by some dumbass then no....polishing of street heads in really not needed and can make the car slower

Yep...thats true also. See if you can get some pics of the inside of the port and post em up. THat'll give you an idea of what your getting.
