ok here goes. i have an 88 gt and am looking to pull the motor soon to rebuild and go bigger. i have a 390 with a c6 tranny in the garage that i want to do something with. so that leads me to the question, will it fit? i know that it is a lot heavier then the 302 and i know it would be easier and cheaper just to stroke the 302 but the 390 needs a home, not to mention a 88 gt big block does sound interesting! any help or ideas are appreciated. thanks

Well, I wouldnt recommend going with a C6. Go with a C4 instead, they are a ton lighter. If you put a 390 with a C6 your car will be a BOAT!
