What CFM is your fan rated for, it may be enough to cool the motor at high RPM's, have you checked concentration on the rad. fluid, as far as lean goes, have you pulled the plugs and looked at those? try to get a wideband air/fuel ratio monitor and you'll know for sure if your running lean.
