Default this sh*t is expensive

I got a quote for a 10 second shortblock from DSS racing the quote was 3,500. i thought wow. then i realized how much all the suspension work will cost, and a new tranny and then how much the top end of the motor will be. it ruined my day

very true. We figured it would take 10-12K to build a car completly and doing it right to go 10s

try not to look at it as so much just money, its "speed parts" ha ha my wife raises h@ll everytime i say hey baby i need......at leaset it aint on beer and broads well not all of it

3500? for a 10sec motor? build a 331,347 with around 400 horse, all suspension, and you'll go tens

yea its a ballanced and bluprinted race preped 331 stroker short block. thats what the plan was spread it out. i just want heads and i cant get the 185cc heads i want without flycutting my pistons. how much does it cost to flycut pistons??
