Default t5 install help

well i got my tranny rebuilt, and took the night ti in stall my new clutch and put the bell houseing back on but when i got ready to put the tranny back in it would not go , i took my lineup shaft to check it and ever thing was right. and ideas or tips???

Turn the input shaft and make sure the spines are lining up. Also make sure you have the tranny going in striaght. You might need some help.

you just got to have two people, one holding it up in the front and you get behind it and hang on to the tailshaft and sorta 'drive it'. Just make sure you dont mess the TB up when your moving it around in there. If you have to, turn the input shaft some to see if you can get the splines to mate up.

mine wouldnt go one time, turns out the input retainer was cracked... something to look at

i did my clutch a few weeks ago took two people and we had to turn input shaft a lil to get it to go but once we got it started it went on in so far no complaints i went back a few days later with the torque wrench to double check bellhousing and tranny bolts as well as driveshaft nothing had backed off

i had two people , got a brand new retainer , shook , turnd , wiggled every thing, any more ideas?

Did you line the clutch up right? Sure it didnt fall after you pulled the clutch alignment tool out? See if it will go back in there, the clutch alignment tool i mean

I think when we put ours in we had to push the clutch pedal. I think that we put the tranny in as far as we could and then I pushed the pedal and it went completely in. You'll need a 3rd person.

what if that dont work and i have to take it back out , wont it mess the clutch up , and y would line up shaft go in so well?
