Intake is different too... im not sure on the internals i think theyre the same. The intake and heads are a ( gt-40/ Cobra) style and produce one less horsepower than a cobra intake would.

that's what i was just gonna say. when my grandpa bought a '97 mountaineer they gave him the option to add a mustang cam and intake.

thanks guys i just wanted to make sure all the front accesories would bolt right up it seems that when you flip through the performance part catalogs they all only indicate parts for 87-93 and 94-95 mustangs but maybe thats cause ford stopped using the 5.0 in a mustang after 95 and they dont take into consideration that the 302 was used until 2001 i think they even list the rebuild kits only up to 95 but it should work fine with a 331 stroker thanks again
