RE: cruise control
Take a look at some vacuum lines, or the cable running from inside the drivers fender to the intake.
If it still doesnt work after the fuse or the vacuum lines, its prob something electical, and if you still dont find anything wrong with the electrical (rare) its probably the modual inside the drivers side fender.
But its probably something electrical or vacuum related.

RE: cruise control
i took my car in when i got it had a crappy aftermarket steering wheel, so i went out and bought a used good condition 1 and had it put on at the dealership ( which they did for free) while i was having some other work done. I got it back and they said all i needed was some sort of connector or sensor or something for my C/C and horn to work. Now i have the wire that connects the middle of the steering wheel to the column but i am wondering if anyone can take a pic of this other connector or sensor i need, or can describe it to me? Also when i push the middle of the wheel down where the horn part is it doesnt like pop in and out like most horns, is this also due to not having the connector piece or whatever? Thanx guys! this may be your prob too bakedog?

RE: cruise control
the horn works sometimes and all the fuses are good. it has the stock speedo cable and all vac lines are hooked up. i looked in my ford repair book and i thnik it might be the controler under the dash but i havent disconnected any wiring to verify
