Default crankshaft?

Hey guys as some of you know my engine is in the shop right now gettin bored out and redone. Well when my buddy got all of it apart and down to the crank...... the crankshaft is bigger than what a stock 5.0 H.O should be. why is this, or what kind of crank is it? its an interceptor but that shouldnt matter and the previous owner had it since it was retired from the force and said he never replaced it or anything. please help me out guys.

he just said that the crank is bigger and is alor beefier than a stock crank should be for a stock 302. are the heavy duty stroker kit cranks bigger and beefier?

I must admit, I find it a little funny you are asking us what crank is in your motor.

Measuring the rods should give you a hint if it's a stroker.
