Default No Lights!

ok i need help... my fuse that controls my dash lights keeps blowing out on me and i have no clue what could be causing this? also to turn my headlights on so that my parking lights and taillights work, i have to turn on the headlight switch and get it in a certain spot so that the taillights and parking lights will stay on and i have no clue why this is either? i tried replacing the headlight switch, but that didnt work... i dont wanna be driving at night with no taillights and it sucks without dash lights, please help!

exact same thing happened to me, it was the wiring frying out. Luckily i got it taken care of b4 the whole wiring harness burnt out. Deal with it REAL soon or you WILL be sorry. If your whole harness gets toasted its ALOT of money or time to get it all pulled and all new wiring installed. That is exactly how mine started. first i had to get it in just the right spot then my tails went out then my headlights and interior lights all together. Good luck man but i would be more than willing to bet you have some toasted wiring somewhere.[:'(]

Also check for pinched wires...I hate this problem in my old car. I had put new 9-way power seats in it and accidentaly bolted one of the mounts of the passenger seat down onto a wire..the behavior of the seat went all haywire...

it was the wiring behind the headlight switch and the wiring behind the headlights. If you cant find anything you may want to take it in because it may be deeper and just because you cant see it doesnt mean it isnt in there somewhere. there may be something else wrong with yours but that is almost EXACTLY how it happened on mine to a T. I would deffinitely have it checked out if you cant find out whats wrong with it. Good luck bro.

well i know i tried replacing the headlight switch cus i thought that might be the problem, it wasnt the problem, but the wiring harnesses right there didnt look bad and the wires connecting to the headlights are all wrapped up... what exactly did u do to yours? or if you took it somewhere, what did they do?
