K, I don't know exactly what's going on with my car, but I'm burning oil...my exhaust is smelling extremely rich, and my gas mileage is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! This has happened since installing the O/R X-pipe, so I'm assuming the latter two are related to the O2 sensors...all help appreciated, thanks

i noticed a drop in mpg when i installed my o/r h too. the sound comes at a price.

yeah, but this a DRASTIC drop...225kms to a tank, so about 150 miles or so

try replacing your o2's if you havent already. that could help.

yeah, that'll definitely be the first thing I do...the burning oil is a huge concern though

does it smoke? are you constantly putting oil in? its either your piston rings are going or its your valve seals. those are the only two ways for oil to bypass and get burned.

Yep, piston rings was my guess...unfortunately...I'm color blind so I can't tell what color the smoke is coming from the exhaust, but no smoke from the engine...I did notice some oil right by the drain plug. It was a tiny amount, and never leaked onto the ground...I hope that's all it is. I'm concerned it needs an engine rebuild

yeah if its not smoking to bad and you're not dumping quarts of oil in it every couple hundred miles you might be about to get away with using an oil additive. when my rings go i plan on just buying a whole new shortblock, a 331 to be exact

Thanks for help, I'll definitely look into an Oil Additive. Yeah, I guess if the engine does decide to go, then I can look for a 351 W. Thanks for the help Brutal
