Default New motor

I just bought a 93 LX 5-speed from Texas. One problem, it's a four-cylinder. Would anyone be able to tell me what I exactly need to swap it out to a 5.0? Any info would be great.

Here we go again. You would do well to buy a wrecked 5.0 and put both up on stands. The swap goes deeper than just changing the motor. You have a 7.5 inch rear and the 5.0 has an 8.8. Unless you plan on changing axles quite frequently, you need to change that. You also need to change the brakes and suspension. The guages will need to be changed too. Fuel lines are different and the rear brake line is different too. It is a fun winter project, but believe me... it IS a project. But, the car will be registered as a weak 4 popper, so insurance is cheaper.<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

BTW, Converted is a converted 4 cyl convertible that now sports some muscle.
