BBK SSI = tuff POS to install
Starting to get real un-happy with this BBK SSI intake.
It's shoved up back against the firewall so its a PITA to get wiring harness jammed in back there.
The BBK fuel regulator hits the upper manifold when you try to install, gonna have to grind a little
The EGR doesnt even come close to fitting. Totally hits the heater pipe and wont let the upper
manifold sit down.
How important is the EGR system to passing emmissions? i saw a small plug on-line that fools
the computer into thinking the EGR is always closed if you remove the valve. Might be easiest fix for that.

depends on which one he bought i think, one is like just the intake and stuff, and other one comes with the 70mm throttle body ect.

But either way you look at it, he doesnt need a EGR spacer because both (wether he bought the one with the TB or not) have the TB/EGR spacer built in...

went to the track last night and a guy had just installed one and he siad it was real easy to install because of all the extra room it has around it, not sure whats holding you up ... sorry no good advice.

Me and my good friend, Hammer had a little talk with the heater core pipe.
no problems anymore.
