Default Lower intake

I cracked my lower intake by overtightening a bolt today so now I have to replace it and funds are low. So I was planning on useing the old lower intake off my 94. I know the upper is shorter but I don't know all the differentses. I'm planning on useing the 87 top and the 94 bottom. Can anyone tell me if this will work?

Thanks! Sometimes a little help goes a long way. This will be the first time I've ever changed a lower intake on a fuelinjection.

How the heck you over torque the bolts??? There is a guide that tells you what to torque them to and in what sequence. Did you maybe not have the lower intake sitting flush, maybe a little cocked?

Well atleast I have two extra lower intakes to work with. Thank god it only happend with a stock intake. Do I ned guid pins when installing the intake?
