A couple of really dumb questions
I'm just curious... If something is recalled on a car, is there a certain time frame you have to get it fixed, or if your car was like 50 years old, could you get it fixed today if it hadnt already been worked on?
And #2... I want to get a nice alarm for my car, any suggestions... and i want to get a hand control thingy for my locks so i can unlock it automatically, i have power everything, does that come with the alarm someone, do i get it seperate, whats thee deeeeeeeeeeallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll ll

RE: A couple of really dumb questions
usually most dealers will still do recalls even if your car is old. but, theyll only replace it for free if its the OEM part, and hasnt been in for the same recall. so, that part being recalled needs to be from factory. otherwise no. for the alarm, get a viper system. take it to an electronics place and have them install it and set it all up.

RE: A couple of really dumb questions
the only recall i can think of for your car is the 9-pin harness thingy.
it's probably done, the sticker is just gone. unless you did a crafax it will show.
and the dealer should do it still, it's a fire hazard
any alarm will have those options
