So yesterday I was cruising down woodward and I saw this hatchback 5.0 and a 2005/2006 GTO pull up side by side to the left of me. I kinda thought the 400 HP GTO was going to smoke the stang but I was damn surprised. They started from a roll and as far as I could see it was neck and neck!

i raced one a few weeks ago from a dig and was not too impressed, it sounded nice, but thats about all i can say for it

They arnt built for straight line. Theyre heavy, and have IRS. You can hang with them going straight, but turn a few times and see who comes out on top.

yeah those 400 gto are 400 hp at the fly not true numbers..still pretty damn quick though..i would take a fox mustang anyday over a gto

I wouldnt be surprised if the numbers claimed by GM were under-rated. They are actually fast cars for the weight.

Remember they have the old vette motor. LS2 is a powerhouse.

I'm guessing he just let off because if he wanted to smoke you.. he could..
